The Blizzard Heavy Duty III NH 1.5 aluminum 3-pipe clamp-to-seam bracket with two attached S-5!® NH 1.5 standard size clamps for clamp-to-seam fence-style snow retention systems in areas with high snow loads. The S-5!® standing-seam clamps are designed to affix directly to the vertical seams of metal panels without penetrating the seam by tightening the included setscrews.
The S-5!® NH 1.5 ("NH" stands for Nail strip Hinge) is a non-penetrating, standing seam metal roof clamp designed specifically for 1-1/2" nail strip profiles with a wider horizontal dimension (>0.475" and up to 0.80"). Includes 2 aluminum inserts and 4 stainless steel setscrews per bracket.
The innovative insert is a "hinge" design and features a toe to engage the female portion of the panel. The aluminum insert forms to the shape of the seam, preventing damage at the point of attachment, while offering optimal holding strength. The aluminum hinge insert is staked at one end to facilitate installation and is reversible to allow for proper fit on both wide and medium-width profiles.
Blizzard Heavy Duty III bracket is part of a complete system designed for applications with high snow loads. This is our tallest and one of our strongest clamp-to-seam systems for standing seam metal panel roofs. Use of the Blizzard Heavy Duty III system may reduce the number of rows needed for some roof sections.
